My work "Conversation XIV" was selected to be part of the 1st Xuyuan International Print Biennial in China, which was open during October at the Jinan Art Museum with the aim to promote international prints. This Biennial is hosted by the Beijing Xuyuan Print Research Center, the largest print workshop in China. 1169 artists from more than 50 countries have submitted their works and were finally finally selected 245. The show will be open until November 14.
My work "Conversation IX" was selected to be part of the 4th Graphic Art Biennial of Szeklerland in Rumania, which was open during September at the Transilvanian Art Center in Sfantu Gheorghe. The jury selected 312 works among 1238. The show will be open until November 13. You can see photos of the exhibition on this link.
The Biennial International Miniature Print Exhibition (BIMPE) is held every two years in Vancouver, BC, Canada. This exhibition is a showcase for small scale works measuring no more than 15cm × 10cm, and is open to images made using all printmaking techniques from traditional line etching to contemporary digital processes.
The exhibition starts at the federation Gallery in Vancouver. In october it will be held at the Dundarave Print Workshop. During January at The University of British Columbia Okanagan in Kelowna BC and during february-march 2017 at The Society of Northern Alberta Print Artists in Edmonton.
I was selected together with other 300 artists.

Here is the largest sanctuary of Paleolithic engraving of the world, but the Douro is also in the contemporary scene by holding one of the biggest events of graphic art in the world, creating a strength and dimension that goes beyond the borders of the country and is projected for infinite horizons.
70 Countries, 604 artists, 1300 prints and 17 exhibitions in Alijó, Bragança, Celeirós, Chaves, Favaios, Foz-Côa, Régua, Sabrosa, São Martinho de Anta, Vila Real.

During May I have been part of Festival LikerArt in Poble Sec-Barcelona, an event that this year happens to meet with Open Studios this weekend 20 May in which our studio remains open for everybody who want to visit us and see how we work. We have made a printmaking techniques exhibition with works from Carla Arenas, Saori Kondo, Blanca Navas and me.
The exhibition "Intensitats" will be shown in three different galleries during this year: from 1 to 16 March at the bookstores Documenta and Jaimes in Barcelona. 18 March until 8 May at Artesanía de Catalunya in Barcelona and finally, at Galería Tigomigo in Terrassa from 1st June until July 9th.
This is a series of exhibitions presenting the collaboration of the group Entinta Editions and the Protected Designation of Origin Catalunya, an interesting and creative project about wine-pairing and printmaking. Entinta artists had a wine tasting of PDO Catalunya and from this experience and its various sensory stimuli, graphic works have emerged to show this intriguing connection between wine and print.
During this exhibitions I will show my work "Intensitats".
The exhibition of the 1st International Contemporary Printmaking Triennial is now open at El Catascopio Gallery in Barcelona.
It is an initiative between the gallery and the french association Graver Maintenant with the aim of contribute to the meeting and exchange between artists and printmaker lovers and collectors.
In this edition, we can see printmaking works (of traditional techniques) from 96 selected artists and 4 invited artists from France. My work "Emptiness XV" is part of this selection.
The exhibition will remain open until April 4th.
The exhibition of selected works for the 2º International Printmaking Prize René Carcan is now open, amongst them some of my works from the series "Conversation".
The main objective of this Biennial is to fulfil the artist's wish to enhance the recognition of printmaking. In this edition, 25 artists were selected among a large number of participants.
The exhibition will remain open until February 21st at the Bibliotheca Wittockiana in Brussels.
